Dan is a phenomenal trainer, I will never be able to thank him enough for the life he has given me back, When I first started with Dan I was 105kg and I didn't know how to use any equipment at the gym other than the treadmill. Now being 70kg and healthy, I feel like a completely different person and now I enjoy walking into the gym. I don't struggle to do everyday tasks anymore because Dan worked with me to strengthen particular muscles that were lacking. Dan has been an absolute joy to work with and defintely would recommend him to anyone who asks.

I have trained with Dan for just over a year and believe he is one of the most experienced & committed trainers I’ve come across. I started training twice a week, as part of a group session, really enjoyed the variety & challenge he put into the sessions & then took on a personal one-on-one session as well. Dan was focused on helping me achieve my goals and makes every session challenging but tailored to my needs. My fitness has increased noticeably and I’ve seen improvements in my ability to complete exercises , lift progressively heavier weights & generally push myself harder throughout each session. He was also instrumental in changing my diet to what I needed, to achieve my goals in a realistic timeline. Most importantly for me he ensured that my technique is always correct to avoid any injuries. He is extremely reliable & punctual and always set up & ready to start training ahead of time, with an exercise routine planned. He also provided the tools for me to workout in my own time and track my progress with both diet and exercise. Dan is a amazing PT I came to him when I weighed 89kg tall and skinny I told him I wanted to gain muscle and get bigger it has being just over a year now of being with Dan I now weigh 102kg and now beginning my cut my strength and technique as well as the food and nutritional side of gym has being amazing due to Dan teaching me the right way of doing everything and giving me a set plan to follow would recommend him to anyone cracker of a bloke!!

I’ve always been an active person playing multiple sports and attending Snap Fitness at Karalee, albeit sporadically, since its opening. However, I still managed to find myself in a place where I was unhappy with my weight and physical fitness, and tired of the innocent but hurtful comments/jokes about my weight. Despite my own attempts to get into shape, I never quite knew what I was doing with my diet and had no clue when it came to working out in the gym. I was determined to do it on my own but finally decided I needed to swallow my pride and ask for help from a personal trainer. That's how I came across Dan who has completely changed the way I look at fitness and diet. Dan broke it down so simply for me to start off with by finding out my goals and setting me an appropriate and achievable diet and workout program. He also taught me how and why the diet and workout program would help me to achieve my goals and supplied me with resources to help me refine them to suit my ever-changing lifestyle. Along the way Dan has provided me with a friendly face in the gym and has constantly checked-in with me to monitor my progress and keep me on track. My favourite part about Dan’s training is that he understands everyone’s lives are different and is constantly providing ways to adjust the training plan to support that. As of now, I currently weigh just under 90kg down from 110kg and I’m starting to like what I see in the mirror again. I’m so happy with the progress I have made with Dan and I’m really looking forward to continuing to better myself with Dan’s guidance. I can’t recommend Dan highly enough for anyone wanting to begin their fitness journey or anyone who needs extra guidance to further their progress.

Not having an active workout schedule in the past, Dan has been a great PT in supporting my training goals. He is goal focused, and I have been able to see continual improvement from my sessions, which are run in a relaxed yet supportive environment. For over ten years I have participated in a competitive dance form called Physical Culture (Physie), and would usually perform quite well. However, now that I have reached the top section for physie I am competing against incredible athletes. I’m not someone to quit when things get hard and so I decided to join the gym to build my strength and tone my body. Personal Training was something I knew I wanted to do when I started the gym as I didn’t have much confidence in what I was doing. Since starting PT with Dan I have gained a lot more confidence, strength and endurance. I have lifted, squatted and pulled weights I never thought possible for me, and it’s only increasing. I think we all want different things for our bodies and are not always sure how to achieve those goals. For me, at the ripe old age of 59, I want to maintain muscle mass and reap the health benefits and independence associated with that as I age; I want to remain vital and able and not ‘fade away’. So, part of the process is to identify and remediate, or work around, damaged or weakened areas of my body, and there are a couple. And this is where Dan comes in …… I was experiencing shoulder pain which discouraged me from working my shoulders and Dan identified a postural issue and suggested a course of action which worked wonderfully. I am pain free and my shoulders now get a nice workout 😊 Dan listens, helps you identify your goals, suggests a course of action, and then works with you to achieve those goals……. as little or as much as you need. Having Dan as a personal trainer has enabled me to eliminate the restricting shoulder pain I had and helped me on my way to reaching my personal goals. I have always found Dan to be an active listener, knowledgeable, helpful and encouraging and would happily recommend him.

Just over 2 year ago I was 122.5kgs and my blood sugar levels were getting dangerously high. It was at this point I decided to do something about it and joined Snap Fitness. Dan has been my personal trainer since the very beginning. Dan has provided me with invaluable weight technique and nutritional advice to me through out my weight loss and fitness journey. I love his boot camp and boxing classes and attended these every week without fail. At the start I could barely do 10 push ups or ride 4km's however with Dan's help I have lost almost 40kgs and recently completed the Ipswich Imperial (100 mile) race. Dan, was my personal trainer from 2022 -2024 at Snap Fitness Karalee. He helped me with my fitness goals and diet plan. I had 5 sessions initially with Dan, as it was my first time in a Gym. Then a further 5 sessions, money well spent. He orientated me to the equipment, demonstrated how to use the equipment and made sure when I was using the equipment, I was doing it in the correct way. He was so polite, and did not get annoyed or frustrated when I asked him to repeatedly show me again and again. He taught me the right foods to eat to get to my ideal physique and best nutrition. Dan assisted me greatly in getting physically fit for high elevation Alpine hiking in Europe. His focus was primarily on strengthening my weak points such as ankle stability, body flexibility, core muscles and glutes. His sessions were very informative and easy to follow. He has a very friendly approach to his coaching methods. His explanations of the exercise enables easy understanding of how it benefits the body. Without a doubt, Dan's exercise regime for me certainly helped me with my Planta Fasciitis pain and improve my overall body strength. I ultimately achieved my goals with my hiking through Normay for 8 days, Switzerland for 8 days and 10 days riding the Camino and I achieved my dream of hiking Trolltunga. I have the deepest gratitude for Dan and would highly recommend him as a coach, without him I would not have achieved my dream and had this amazing experience.
