Exercise Is More Fun With Friends
We are often prepared to do more for others than ourselves, right?
That’s why training with a friend can often help us both stay more motivated and accountable (we don’t want to let the team down).
Convincing a friend or family member to try a new gym can be challenging though, can’t it?
We have tried to make it easier for you by doing these 2 things:
1. Friends & family can train for free on Thursdays during staffed hours, including classes.
2. We have a variety of classes at different time points during the day so your prospective gym partner can find an appropriate class to attend regardless of their fitness, experience or confidence levels (scroll down to find class info).

Mobility @ 5am:
Mobility is all about building your flexibility, enhancing your muscular strength and improving the way that you move. In these classes, you will learn how to look after your body and prepare it for exercise. We will challenge your range of motion, improve your stability and control at each joint, reactivate inactive muscles and build your capacity to distribute loads across the body, rather than having it build up and overload individual joints and tendons.
If you want to recover from a hard workout, move without pain, reduce your risk of getting injured or combat long periods of time spent in poor posture positions, such as when working on computers, driving, or while in front of screens, then mobility is perfect for you.
Kinetic Link Training (KLT) @ 6am:
KLT is a style of Functional Strength Training that focuses on encouraging your muscles to work together as a system, rather than in isolation. In these classes, we remove all the external support equipment such as seats and benches and focus on challenging you with exercises that mimic real-world movement.
KLT is perfect for you if you understand the basics (core movement patterns), and are now wanting to strengthen and injury-proof your body. If you are looking for a movement challenge, or want to improve your coordination and build your strength in a functional way, then we believe that this class is a must!
High-Intensity Resistance Training (H.I.R.T) @ 10:30am:
H.I.R.T is a high energy, fast-paced class that combines cardio machines and weights equipment together. We take the best of both worlds and put them into workouts that are designed to make your muscles burn and your body sweat. In these classes, we change up the number of reps you do, the length of time that you rest and the combination of exercises you have to complete so that we can push you to the edge and keep you at your limits.
H.I.R.T is perfect for you if you have learnt and practised the basics (core movement patterns), are pain-free and now want to challenge yourself in both the strength and cardio departments.
Movement Foundation @ 4:30pm:
Movement foundation is all about working on the fundamentals. In these classes, we teach you how to master the core movement patterns. These are exercises that include squats, lunges, hip hinges, pushes and pulls, and represent the foundation for almost every progression and variation of movement you will do both inside and outside of the hub. We focus on helping you learn how these exercises should feel, showing you what groups of muscles you are using and teaching you how to perform each exercise safely.
If you are wanting to learn or refine your basics (the core movement patterns), build your confidence, improve your understanding of exercise in preparation for more intense classes, or are coming back from aches, pains or an injury, then Movement Foundations is the class for you.
Strength Circuit @ 5:30pm:
Strength Circuit is a hardcore, full-body workout designed to challenge your muscles under heavy loads. In these classes, we utilise a variety of compound and isolated exercises, as well as a range of different equipment. This class is all about pushing your limits, challenging your functional strength, moving better, feeling stronger and keeping your progress flowing.
Strength Circuit is perfect for you if you have learnt and practised the basics ( the core movement patterns), are pain-free and are now wanting to build your functional strength, tone up or improve your movement both inside and outside the hub.
Recovery 6:30pm
Recovery is the class that focuses on releasing your tight, restrictive muscles and returning your body to a relaxed, loose and mobile state. In these classes, you will learn how to look after your body and prepare it for exercise. We will help you recover from previous workouts, return your movement to an optimal level and prepare you for your next intense class, all using equipment such as trigger balls and foam rollers.
Recovery is perfect for you if you want to release your tight or restrictive muscles, regain your joint’s full range of motion, move smoothly and without pain, or undo the effects of spending extended time periods in a poor posture position such as sitting.
