Teens can benefit greatly from participating in regular exercise and youth fitness classes. Our personal trainer for teens will teach them how to master the basics necessary to exercise safely within a gym environment while building their cardio, strength, flexibility and fitness.

At Above & Beyond Fitness Hub in Jindalee, we are one of the leading gyms for teens, and we offer fun foundational teenage fitness programs for students between the ages of 11 and 15 in a safe and friendly environment.
The classes run for 45-minutes and are delivered by a knowledgeable personal trainer for teens, who have experience working in youth fitness programs.
11-15 Year Olds
Every Weekday 3:45 pm to 4:30 pm
Our primary focus is to:
– Provide a safe and friendly environment for students to learn about and enjoy the benefits of exercises & movement.
– Teach them the basics of strength, cardiovascular and mobility training, including technique, exploring variations and introducing program concepts such as what reps and sets are or what an appropriate length of rest could be.
– Challenge their ability to utilise balance, body control, speed and agility skills. These skills are often only offered to students training for specific sports.
– Teach them about gym etiquette and how to interact with other members in a gym setting.
– Instil confidence in their capacity to train outside of our Teen Foundational Fitness Program by themselves effectively.
Move & Mobilise Focus – Monday 3:45 pm – 4:30 pm:
This class is all about challenging each teen’s balance, body control, speed and agility in various ways using different equipment.
These are the core skills for sports, games and general play. Think throw or kick a ball or move over or around an obstacle.
These skills are the foundations that make general physical activity and games fun.
BoxFit – Tuesday 3:45pm – 4:30 pm:
This is a high-energy, fast-paced class that combines cardio machines and weight equipment. We take the best of both worlds and put them together to create age-appropriate workouts designed to elevate the heart rate, challenge the muscles and maximise the fun factor by utilising games and team objectives.
Strength Focus – Wednesday 3:45 pm – 4:30 pm:
We teach your teen how to do exercises such as squats, lunges, hip hinges, pushes and pulls, which are the basic techniques required for almost every progression and variation of strength training.
Strength Focus – Thursday 3:45 pm – 4:30 pm:
We teach your teen how to do exercises such as squats, lunges, hip hinges, pushes and pulls, which are the basic techniques required for almost every progression and variation of strength training.
Cardio Focus – Friday 3:45 pm – 4:30 pm:
This high-energy, fast-paced class combines cardio machines and weight equipment. We take the best of both worlds and put them together to create age-appropriate workouts designed to elevate the heart rate, challenge the muscles and push their limits in a fun team environment.
